Our Church is participating in the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Thy Kingdom Come prayer event from Thursday May 10 to Sunday May 20. We will: Encourage people to pray for 5 people they know who they want to become followers of Jesus Christ Have a special ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ Prayer Booklet Have 2 Prayer walks organised one in Ivanhoe and one in West Heidelberg. Confirmation. Bishop Genieve Blackwell will be with us on Sunday 6-August for a Confirmation service. This is an opportunity for people in our parish to make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. This may include: 1. Those who have not yet been baptised but have committed their lives to Christ and want to seal that through baptism and confirmation 2. First a great big thank you to all who help make our Parish Camp a success. We had close to 100 parishioners in attendance at sometime during the camp. I was delighted that all of our congregations were well represented. Thank you to Veena and her camp committee of Keisha, Leith, Lynne, Olga and Anthony for attending to all the administrative detail for the camp.
